So, today I realized that lately I attempt with lameo stories on MLIA then bothering LJing, and since they are stories that happened to me, I should at least but em here, yeah?

Today, while moving my box full of kittens, my friend noticed that the side of it said "fragile" and "this way up" and said it was ironic. I replied that it was more ironic that it was a microwave box. MLIA

Today, after class, there was a potlock. While I walked across the parking lot with my friend Emily and a random guy in our class, he was trying to convince my friend, whose a bartender, to just skip out on work and go with him. His argument? "Just tell your boss you're not going, what's he going to care? He's a drunk." I felt strangely proud, since that boss is my father. MLIA

Today, as my brother was peeling open a Pillsbury biscuit container, my mother glanced quickly at him, and screamed, "ZACHARY! Stop peeling the label of that can!" He looked confused, and explained that's how you open the container. She quickly replied with an, "Oh," and went back to what she was doing. "I thought you were peeling the labels off the cans again." I feel proud to know that my 21 year old brother does this enough to get an "again" added on to that sentence. MLIA

Today, I was downloading new antivirus software. A couple days before, I'd downloaded a different one that hadn't done what I wanted, but I was too lazy to bother getting rid of it. As I started today's installation, I said jokingly to my brother, "Hey, wouldn't it be funny if they saw each other as rivals, refused to cooperate, and tried to claim the other was a virus or something?" Half way through my install I got a notice about my previous software, informing me it was 'potentially incompatible software', and it was 'highly recommended I remove it'. When I said I still wanted to keep it, it asked, 'Are you sure you /really/ want to proceed?' I'm on to your hidden motives, antivirus software. MLIA

Having to makeup an exam for French class, my professor brought me to an abandoned teacher lounge to do it while the rest of the class was in the computer lab, trusting me not to cheat. Halfway through the test, I looked up and noticed a card laying on the table with a note attached that said, "Professor So-&-So is leaving us for good! Please take the time to sign and say your goodbyes!" The card was practically covered in things like, 'I'll miss you!', 'Don't loose touch,' or 'Remember when...' I glanced around to make sure I was alone, then signed it, "Thank you so much for all the help you gave with my cases. Sherlock Holmes." I wish I could be there when they read it. MLIA
